Production

In Mexico, Espanita Reposado Tequila is handmade with great attention to detail. Blue agaves from the highlands of Jalisco are used. The tequila matures for a whole six months in white American oak barrels. These come from bourbon producers in Kentucky, which explains why the tequila is strongly influenced by bourbon flavours. The charring of the barrels eventually causes sugar and other flavours to caramelise. This gives this tequila an extraordinary flavour.

Taste

Bourbon, oak and earthy agave flavours are perfectly balanced in Espanita Tequila, creating a harmonious blend. Furthermore, the aromas of walnut, cola nut, tarragon and sassafras spread with every sip. In the finish, this tequila surprises once again with a new taste experience. Candied bananas and creamy coconut form the finish of the Reposado. With its sweet aromas, the tequila is perfect for delicious cocktails, such as Tequila Sunrise or Margarita.
