Isle Of Jura Prophecy 0.7L (46% Vol.)
Isle Of Jura Prophecy
Isle Of Jura Prophecy captivates with its strong peatiness. This gives the Single Malt from the Scottish island Jura a very special depth. In combination with the other aromas, this results in a highly complex whisky, which is supplied in a 0.7L bottle at 46% vol.
Nosing
Isle Of Jura Prophecy shows its complexity immediately after opening the bottle. The strong peat smoke guides the composition and is ideally accompanied by fruit and chocolate. In the background a symphony of honey, vanilla, caramel and a little barley plays.
Taste
The smoke is also very present on the palate. In combination with malt and cereal notes, it is also slightly dry and extremely full-bodied on the tongue. Tips of spices and citrus fruits give the composition an additional deep character. The taste experience is rounded off by maritime notes referring to the rough coast of Scotland's west coast, the home of the Isle Of Jura distillery.
Finish
The storage in Limousin oak barrels is noticeable at the latest in the final. As it is supposed to be for a high-class drop, the long finale is also complex. The warm finish is once again dominated by smoke, but spicy woody notes are also noticeable as well as a subtle hint of fruit.
